According to Foresight News, the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), Eddie Yue, has announced that there will soon be positive news to share regarding connectivity, the Greater Bay Area, and financial technology. These updates are expected to be revealed at the end of the month during the Hong Kong Fintech Week 2024, where new advancements in fintech projects will be disclosed. Yue emphasized the significance of tokenization development in Hong Kong, stating that if the city can become a pioneer in this field by establishing mature technology, operational, and issuance systems, it will naturally attract business as tokenization becomes more widespread.
