Among those under consideration are former Federal Reserve Governor Kevin Warsh and Wall Street billionaire Marc Rowan. Initially, it was anticipated that Trump would select Howard Lutnick, CEO of Wall Street firm Cantor Fitzgerald, or Scott Bessent, a former fund manager for George Soros. However, Trump has been reassessing these initial candidates and has slowed down the decision-making process. It is expected that he will invite the candidates for interviews at Mar-a-Lago this week.
