According to Odaily, a recent DeFi report reveals that blockchain startups have secured $13.6 billion in venture capital in 2024. This amount represents 4.9% of the total $279 billion invested throughout the year. The figure marks an increase from the $10.1 billion raised in 2023, yet it remains significantly lower than the record $32.4 billion achieved in 2021. Analysts anticipate that the crypto industry could attract over $18 billion in venture capital by 2025, driven by declining interest rates and clearer regulatory frameworks.
