According to PANews, U.S. Senator Cynthia Lummis has proposed a strategy to significantly reduce the national debt by purchasing Bitcoin using gold certificates valued at 1974 prices. She believes that this approach could potentially halve the national debt within 20 years. Senator Lummis emphasized that this plan would not require additional taxpayer funds to acquire Bitcoin.
