The stabbing happened at approximately 2:20 PM in Courtroom No. 306. The attacker, identified as Mr. Kang, a man in his 40s, was one of the victims of the fraud perpetrated by Haru Invest. Kang had smuggled a 5cm knife into the courtroom. During the proceedings, he suddenly attacked Mr. Lee, stabbing him multiple times in the neck.

Mr. Lee was detained in February 2024 and charged under the Aggravated Punishment Act for Certain Crimes.
