Odaily Planet Daily News CoinGecko released a research report on home Bitcoin mining electricity costs. The report pointed out that an average of 266,000 kWh of electricity is needed to mine one BTC. The average price of household electricity costs is $46,291.24, which is much higher than the spot price. Only 65 countries have household electricity prices that can realize the profitability of Bitcoin mining. Among them, the cost of electricity per Bitcoin in Lebanon is as low as 266.02 US dollars, and the highest in Italy is 208,560.33 US dollars.
