Legal representatives of the Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) on Friday asked Judge James Mellor to approve Craig Wright to pay 85% of the organization's litigation costs.
In February of this year, COPA took Wright to court to thoroughly find out whether he is Satoshi Nakamoto, the creator of Bitcoin. The presiding judge of the case, James Mellor, ruled on the 3rd that Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto, nor is he the author of the Bitcoin white paper.
Jonathan Hough, one of the legal representatives of COPA, requested a civil restraining order against Craig Wright to prevent him from filing any other legal proceedings because "he has made a lot of threats." (CoinDesk)
