According to PANews, Tether Treasury has minted 1 billion USDT tokens on the Ethereum network, valued at approximately $1.01 billion. This activity was detected by Whale Alert, a blockchain monitoring service. Tether's Chief Technology Officer, Paolo Ardoino, clarified that this transaction is 'authorized but not issued.'
