OKX Integrates TON as 100th Mainnet Blockchain

OKX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange, has achieved a milestone by integrating its 100th mainnet blockchain with The Open Network (TON). The exchange's wallet service now supports the TON ecosystem, joining a roster that includes NEAR, Blast, and zkLink Nova.

Support for DApps and Tokens

OKX's wallet supports over 10,000 Decentralized Applications (DApps) and facilitates transactions for 300,000 tokens across more than 400 Decentralized Exchanges (DEXs). Haider Rafique, Chief Marketing Officer at OKX, highlighted how these integrations streamline access to diverse crypto ecosystems.

OKX Achievements and Milestones

As a prominent digital asset service provider, OKX processed $63.31 billion in trading volume last month. The exchange expanded its services to the Netherlands, introducing local digital assets trading and wallet services. Additionally, OKX launched its Ethereum-based zero-knowledge Layer 2 network, X Layer, aiming to onboard its 50 million users onto blockchain technology.

TON Ecosystem Growth

The TON blockchain, known for its rapid growth within the Web 3.0 space, boasts significant adoption driven by Telegram's large user base and TON-based tap-to-earn games. DeFiLlama reports a Total Value Locked (TVL) exceeding $773 million within the TON ecosystem.

Collaborations and Alliances

TON has formed multiple partnerships to strengthen its ecosystem. Bing Ventures recently announced comprehensive support for TON, focusing on investment, resource sharing, and project advisories to unite Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 innovations. This includes facilitating fundraising and mentorship for projects leveraging TON's capabilities.

Future Outlook

With collaborations like the integration with OKX and partnerships with firms like Bing Ventures and HashKey Global, the TON ecosystem continues to expand its footprint in the crypto space.
