Bitfinex CTO: City of Lugano issued first public digital bond

Bitfinex CTO Paolo Ardoino tweeted that El Salvador just approved new laws allowing the issuance of Vulcano bonds. On the other side of the world, the Swiss city of Lugano has just issued its first public digital bond, experimenting with post-settlement of blockchain technology (Aa3 rating by Moody’s). This is thanks to Switzerland’s regulatory framework for digital assets, which is pioneering and avant-garde.
