According to the Liaoshen Evening News, the "2023 Northeast Metaverse Innovation and Development Forum and Wisdom Shenyang Industry Investment Conference" was held in Heping District, Shenyang City on January 15. The meeting released the "Wuli River Metaverse Innovation Base Action Plan" and "Peace Trial Measures for the District to Support the Development of the Metaverse Industry". The "Plan" stated that the development goal proposed by the Heping District is to strive to build 10 metaverse industrial parks with an area of more than 20,000 square meters and four metaverse industrial parks with an area of more than 50,000 square meters by 2025. Fund, build 30 major application demonstration projects, create 20 technical service industry platforms, attract and cultivate 50 leading enterprises with core competitiveness in the industry, focus on 300 enterprises in the industrial ecological chain, and achieve a breakthrough of 50 billion yuan in the metaverse industry scale. Heping District will also use the area of about 7.2 square kilometers with the Nanhu Sub-district Office as the core to build the Wulihe Metaverse Innovation Base supported by "one street, two platforms, three colleges, six courtyards, and N buildings".
