Odaily Planet Daily News Community news shows that many members of the encryption community reported that the private key was stolen, and there is speculation that it was caused by the use of a bit fingerprint browser.
In this regard, the BitFingerprint browser official stated in the community that some versions of WPS For Windows have a remote code execution vulnerability, and attackers can use this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code on the victim's target host, control the host, etc.
Affected versions include: WPS Office 2023 Personal Edition earlier than 12.1.0.15120 (inclusive), WPS Office institutional version (such as Professional Edition, Professional Plus Edition) earlier than 11.8.2.12055 (inclusive).
And this vulnerability is easier to trigger, so after clicking on an unknown link, you may be hacked. Even if the private key does not exist in WPS, you will be tricked if you use other keys. In addition, there is also a risk of theft if the key is authorized to a third party.
