Odaily Planet Daily News According to the latest court documents, SBF’s defense team has re-filed an application for temporary release during the upcoming trial, citing the difficulty of preparing an adequate defense under current restrictions. The legal team said the SBF's knowledge and involvement would be crucial in reviewing thousands of pages of investigative material and financial records involving complex matters if he remains in custody.
To allay possible flight risk concerns, the defense proposed conditions such as private security escorting SBF between approved locations and restricting his use of communications devices during his temporary release, with a willingness to accept additional restrictions deemed necessary by the court.
