ENS announces integration of browser-compatible “.box” domains

Ethereum naming service ENS announced the integration of ".box" domains for use with internet browsers, the first on-chain top-level domain in the ENS management application. Users can now register .box domains through the application for use in Web2 services such as email and website hosting. Registration and transfer of ".box" domains are performed on the Ethereum blockchain. Unlike traditional .eth, ".box" domains are accessible on all web browsers through ENS. This integration aims to further connect the Web2 and Web3 ecosystems, enabling users to use Ethereum and .box names simultaneously.
