According to the Eclipse Foundation announcement, the Eclipse mainnet is now open to developers. Eclipse is the first SVM L2 on Ethereum, combining the speed of Solana with the liquidity of Ethereum. The Eclipse Foundation invites developers to deploy dApps and participate in the Total Eclipse Challenge hackathon from August 7 to August 21. The hackathon will feature five unique tracks: DeFi, Games, Consumption, Memecoin, and Infrastructure, with a total prize of nearly $50,000. The Eclipse mainnet provides developers with an environment for seamless deployment and fast technical support. Developers can access RPC and use CLI to bridge ETH through documentation. In the future, Eclipse plans to transition to a higher-stage mainnet and enable at least withdrawals before opening it to the public.
