Qixia police cracked a virtual currency investment fraud case in which friends were added through TikTok

According to the Qixia Public Security Public Account, a certain Ms. Cui added a "friend" on the Douyin App. The "friend" told her that she could get high returns by investing in virtual currency. Ms. Cui believed it and transferred a total of 340,000 yuan, and was then blocked by the "friend". The police analyzed and judged the clues such as the relevant accounts and transfer records provided by Ms. Cui, looking for a breakthrough in the case, and successfully identified the suspects as Li and Yang and arrested them. At present, the criminal suspects Li (male, 22 years old) and Yang (male, 27 years old) have been criminally detained according to law, and the case is under further investigation.
