The development team of the popular mobile game Flappy Bird confirmed that the new version will allow users to use Web3 features, but will not involve NFTs.
The new game was first revealed earlier this month, with a hidden page on the game's website showing that it was related to cryptocurrency, but it was not confirmed until after the game was released on September 16.
A spokesperson for the Flappy Bird Foundation confirmed in an interview that the game "will integrate Web3" and be played through Telegram, but users can opt out of these options.
The spokesperson said: "In the future, the game will be released on mobile platforms without crypto features, and all Flappy Bird will be 100% free." (Cointelegraph)
