Notcoin, a clicker game on Telegram, is gaining popularity as it approaches its planned token airdrop. The game has achieved new milestones, surpassing 30 million total players and reaching over 5 million daily active users.
The game's data indicates its growing user base, but since Notcoin is not yet on-chain, these stats cannot be independently verified. Nevertheless, there is significant interest in Notcoin, evident from the influx of players on the in-game leaderboards.
Notcoin will transition its in-game coins to The Open Network, the blockchain network initially founded by Telegram. The token generation event and airdrop to players are expected to take place in late March or early April. However, players who have been inactive for 30 days will see their coin balances decrease by 5% daily.
In a recent development, Notcoin introduced NFT vouchers, allowing top players to convert their in-game coin balances. These vouchers can be traded before the official token launch, with 10 million or 100 million in-game coins exchanged for a voucher. Currently, vouchers representing 10 million coins are selling for approximately $25 worth of Toncoin (TON) on the GetGems marketplace.
The largest voucher sale to date was for 100 million Notcoin, which sold for 1,100 TON, equivalent to about $4,180. The vouchers have generated a total trading volume of 1.2 million TON, worth over $5 million at the current price.
In a related announcement, The Open Network revealed a $115 million incentives program to attract developers and users. The program will include apps offering free tokens through simple mining mechanics, inspired by games like Notcoin.
