Puffverse, an NFT-based gaming project operating on Binance’s BNB Chain, has revealed its decision to migrate its collections to the Ethereum gaming network Ronin. Concurrently, the project has announced the launch of a play-to-earn party game called PuffGo on the Ronin network.

Metaverse Expansion: Puffverse Secures $3 Million Funding Round for PuffGo and Cloud Gaming Platform Development

Puffverse has secured a $3 million funding round led by Animoca Brands, a prominent investor in the metaverse space. Other participants in the funding round include Ronin creator Sky Mavis, Arcane Group, Spartan Group, Foresight Ventures, HashKey Capital, and Xu Family Office. The infusion of funds will fuel the development of PuffGo and the creation of a cloud gaming platform for personalized metaverse experiences.

PuffGo, described as a multiplayer party game with play-to-earn features, will mark Puffverse's debut on the Ronin network. Similar to the popular Web2 game Fall Guys, PuffGo offers user-generated content creation and incorporates AI tools for crafting game maps and metaverses through text commands.

Ronin Migration and Token Launch: Puffverse's Next Steps Towards a Flourishing Metaverse

To facilitate the transition to Ronin, Puffverse will take a snapshot of NFT holders on BNB Chain on April 29. Subsequently, the project will airdrop the Ronin version of the assets to the respective wallets. Additionally, Puffverse plans to introduce a PUFF token on Ronin later this year, accompanied by a new NFT collection.
