Puntored Secures $2 Million Funding To Enhance Cross-Border Transactions In Latin America

According to Odaily, fintech company Puntored has successfully raised $2 million in funding. The investment was made through the Stellar Development Foundation's Stellar Enterprise Fund. Puntored plans to use this new capital to enhance its technological capabilities and facilitate cross-border transactions across Latin America via the Stellar blockchain network. The company aims to explore digital wallets, embedded payment services for enterprises, and credit services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These services will be targeted at users in rural, metropolitan, and remote areas of Mexico, Colombia, and Puerto Rico.
