U.S. Stock Market Closure for National Day of Mourning

According to PANews, the U.S. stock market will be closed on January 9, a Thursday, in observance of a national day of mourning for the late 39th President of the United States, Jimmy Carter. Normal trading activities are set to resume on January 10, Friday. The Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) will end its stock index futures trading early at 22:30 UTC+8. Interest rate and agricultural futures trading will conclude early at 02:15 UTC+8 on January 10, while treasury futures trading will end at 03:30 UTC+8 on the same day. Trading for precious metals, energy, foreign exchange, and cryptocurrency futures will continue as usual.
