Vitalik Buterin Questions Uniswap's Exclusive Chain Proposal

According to PANews, Vitalik Buterin expressed skepticism about Uniswap's proposal to launch an exclusive chain in a tweet from September 2022. Buterin argued that Uniswap's core value lies in its ability to facilitate quick transactions for users, and an exclusive Uniswap chain or Rollup does not offer additional benefits in this regard. He suggested that replicating Uniswap's model on each Rollup would be more meaningful due to the inherent friction and time delays associated with cross-chain bridging, which cannot be fully abstracted. Furthermore, Buterin noted that wealthy users could use automated tools to split transactions across multiple Rollups to minimize slippage risk.
