Uniswap Labs CEO: Harris’s first public support for digital assets is worthy of encouragement and is an improvement for the industry

U.S. Vice President Harris has previously publicly expressed support for digital assets. Hayden Adams, CEO of Uniswap Labs, posted a message on X to express support, believing that this is a positive signal, "Kamala has indicated that she will encourage innovative technologies such as digital assets. I believe this is the first time she has publicly mentioned cryptocurrency in a positive way." Industry insiders are skeptical about this, pointing out that the Biden administration's policy toward cryptocurrencies over the past four years has not been friendly. In response, Adams said: "I agree that Biden has performed poorly for the cryptocurrency and technology industries. Harris is hinting that her government will handle it differently and be more supportive of innovation. Personally, I think the current vice president's positive statement is a step forward." Earlier today, Harris commented on the crypto industry for the first time at a recent Wall Street fundraising event, and incorporated artificial intelligence and crypto technology into her vision of an "opportunity economy."
