According to Odaily, security firm SlowMist has released statistics on the top 10 financial scams of 2024. ZKasino, IBXtrade, and Essence Finance are the top three incidents, with losses amounting to $33 million, $21.8 million, and $20 million, respectively. Notably, SlowMist's representative, Yuxian, commented that most of these top 10 scams are likely not projects initiated by Chinese nationals, suggesting that not all projects involving Chinese individuals should be dismissed outright.
